Amy Lallas

Amy believes that nothing is more important than taking care of our health. "Short or tall, lithe or stocky, we were given these amazing machines, our bodies, and with proper care, we can keep them running smoothly our entire lives." For Amy, that care begins with fitness and nutrition.
She began dancing at the age of five, and has been a dance and exercise enthusiast her entire life. During her senior year in high school, she was accepted into and danced at the prestigious Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival in the Berkshire Mountains in Massachusetts. She continues to take classes such as jazz, tap and ballet as an adult. She has been a gym "regular" since she can remember and has a passion for strength training of all kinds and for all ages. Among her favorites are competitive team sports, Pilates, yoga and TRX Suspension Training. Recently, Amy competed as a member of the Chicago Rowing Foundation's Masters Adult Team.
Though she has always been athletic, Amy understands that many people have not and are hesitant, intimidated, even frightened to start. "I wholeheartedly believe that anyone can enjoy the benefits of fitness at any age. " Her focus is on form and safe practice, and she customizes her approach to each client's anatomy and conditions, modifying exercises as needed. In addition to Pilates, Amy is a certified Personal Trainer, a TRX and Rip Stix Trainer, and a Precision Nutrition Certified Nutrition Coach.
